Rachel's Passion for Taste Garden

pft gardenOur Passion for Taste Garden has been inspired by our delicious products! Set within an area intended for enjoyable social space, it will will be a truly enchanting garden built entirely of natural products which provide storage and shelter, courtesey of a stylish thatched Gazebo, and extra seating in the form of internal timber walls!

The planting scheme is especially exciting as it will display the plants that provide our tasty ingredients but in an ornamental way - showing that Grow-Your-Own can look great inyour garden too!

Key structural plants will be the fruit trees which as specimen size trees will take on the height of Gazebo on both sides and integrate it with the lower planting. In addition, wildflowers will underline our organic status and will give way to a swarthe of strawberries, rhubarb, blackcurrants and raspberries. Finally a band of blueberries will form a slightly sloped valley in the centre of the garden.

The circular thatched Gazebo is the focal point and Garden Hub and will provide shelter and storage that connects to harvesting. The radiating timbers that form the path and terrace will have a white stone chip infill between each which, in combination with the Gazebo, form the Rachel’s Daisy Logo!

The garden will be contained on two sides by timber soldiers that double up as seating space so you can relax and spak up the atmosphere. The remaining two sides will be planted as part of radiating bands that might continue and extend beyond the garden.

All materials have been specially selected. Everything will be sourced locally to Hampton Court Palace. All the materials will be from sustainable or reclaimed sources and will be reused after the show.

The Gazebo, path surfaces and garden edging will all be in sustainable hardwood and softwood timber products to evoke a soft focus, warm and natural feel to the garden. The necessary infill between the path and terrace timbers will be with white stone chips to evoke the Rachel’s Daisy Logo.
